Regen Computers – Repair & Servicing Terms & Conditions

By proceeding with a repair or service at Regen Computers, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:


1. Payment & Diagnostic Fees

  • A $75 diagnostic fee applies to devices requiring assessment. This fee is waived if the repair proceeds.
  • For repairs with known costs, full payment is required upfront. For other repairs, a 50% deposit is required before work begins.
  • Any additional repairs beyond the initial quote will require customer approval before proceeding.

2. No Fix, No Fee Policy

  • The diagnostic fee is non-refundable.
  • If a repair is unsuccessful, the repair cost will be refunded, excluding the diagnostic fee.
  • In cases of partial repairs where issues persist, refunds will be assessed at Regen Computers’ discretion.

3. Warranty on Repairs

  • All repairs come with a 90-day limited warranty, covering only the same issue reoccurring.
  • The warranty does not cover:
    • Physical damage (e.g., drops, liquid damage).
    • Software issues, viruses, or customer-installed apps.
    • Additional faults unrelated to the original repair.
    • Devices with liquid damage or no power, which are excluded from warranty due to corrosion risks.

4. Turnaround Time & Delays

  • Repair times are estimates only and may vary due to part availability or unforeseen complications.
  • Regen Computers is not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers or couriers.

5. Abandoned Devices

  • Devices not collected within 12 weeks of repair completion will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of or resold to recover costs.
  • Regen Computers is not responsible for data left on abandoned devices.

6. Data Loss & Backups

  • Customers are responsible for backing up their data prior to repair.
  • If a reinstall or factory reset is required, data may be erased.
  • Regen Computers offers data backup and recovery services for an additional fee if arranged in advance.

7. Liquid-Damaged & No Power Devices

  • Devices with liquid damage or no power may deteriorate further during repair attempts.
  • These repairs are high-risk and carry no warranty due to potential corrosion and instability.
  • Regen Computers takes no responsibility if the issue worsens or deteriorates further during or after the repair attempt, as these devices are inherently unstable and unpredictable.

8. Third-Party Repairs & Warranty Voidance

  • Devices with prior third-party repairs may be declined for service if previous work has caused further damage.
  • Repairs performed by Regen Computers may void manufacturer warranties.

9. Liability & Service Limitations

  • Regen Computers is not responsible for:
    • Pre-existing damage.
    • Minor cosmetic changes.
    • Faults arising from underlying or undisclosed issues.
  • Customers acknowledge that some repairs involve inherent risk, and certain devices may become non-functional due to existing faults.
