Regen Computers – Repair & Servicing Terms & Conditions
By proceeding with a repair or service at Regen Computers, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Payment & Diagnostic Fees
- A $67.50 diagnostic fee applies to devices requiring assessment. This fee is waived if the repair proceeds.
- Full payment is required upfront for known repair costs; otherwise, a 50% deposit is required.
- Additional repairs beyond the initial quote require customer approval.
2. No Fix, No Fee Policy
- The diagnostic fee is non-refundable.
- If a repair is unsuccessful, the repair cost will be refunded, excluding the diagnostic fee.
- Partial repairs where issues persist will be assessed for refunds at Regen Computers’ discretion.
3. Warranty on Repairs
- Repairs include a 12-month warranty, covering only the same issue reoccurring.
- Warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage (e.g., drops, liquid damage).
- Software issues, viruses, or customer-installed apps.
- Additional faults unrelated to the original repair.
4. Turnaround Time & Delays
- Repair times are estimates and may vary due to part availability or unforeseen issues.
- Regen Computers is not liable for third-party delays.
5. Abandoned Devices
- Devices not collected within 12 weeks of repair completion will be considered abandoned and disposed of or resold to recover costs.
- Regen Computers is not responsible for data left on abandoned devices.
6. Data Loss & Backups
- Customers must back up their data unless arranged beforehand with Regen Computers for an additional fee.
- Data may be erased if a reinstall or factory reset is required.
7. Liquid-Damaged & No Power Devices
- Liquid-damaged or no-power devices may deteriorate further during repair attempts.
- No warranty is provided on liquid-damaged repairs due to corrosion risks.
8. Third-Party Repairs & Warranty Voidance
- If a device has previous third-party repairs, service may be declined if prior work caused further damage.
- Repairs by Regen Computers may void manufacturer warranties.
9. Liability & Service Limitations
- Regen Computers is not responsible for pre-existing damage, minor cosmetic changes, or faults arising from underlying issues.
- Customers acknowledge that some repairs involve risk, and certain devices may become non-functional due to pre-existing faults.
