HP Prodesk 400 G3, i5-6500, 8GB, 256GB SSD - Refurbished Excellent Condition

I made a knee-jerk purchase then read the reviews and became concerned. Regan Computers [RC] had to perfect reconditioned chromebook, they were quick to respond to my questions and I made the purchase. There was a couple of weeks before I received a notification it was on its way. The Chomebook arrived all in good order, with warrenty and it was everything RC said it was. My confidence in RC has been reinstated and I'm considering sent my laptop to RC (I live in Auckland) for repair. If it wasn't for the poor communication, they would have got 5 stars.

I had a hard time with this review. My son brought a refurbished Chrome Book from these guys, the dispatch time was crazy and NZ Posts useless delivery service made the situation worse. And to top it off on arrival the laptop wasn't in the described condition I was all prepared to leave a 1 star review but decided to wait until I had received a reply from them. All I'm going to say is. They fixed me up. Took full responsibility, offered to fix the problem and then even agreed to a deal that suited both of us. Fantastic Customer Service from Braydon who went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Because of this, You guys definitely have a return customer who will be placing another couple of orders very soon! Thank you.

I ordered a laptop on December 24th and understood that the company would be on holiday until January 6th, which was reasonable. However, after that, there was no communication until I emailed on January 10th and received no response. On January 13th, a friend called on my behalf and was informed that the laptop I ordered was unavailable, but they offered a replacement. Unfortunately, the initial replacement offered was significantly worse, which felt disappointing. Eventually, they offered me a different option—a Dell workstation laptop—but the process took several more days to finalize. Even after I followed up on January 22nd, they mentioned waiting for a battery, delaying shipment. Thankfully, the laptop finally arrived on January 25th with better specs than promised, including 24GB of RAM instead of 8GB, which made me happy in the end. While I appreciate the upgraded laptop and the effort they put into resolving the issue, the lack of communication throughout the process was frustrating. With better transparency, this could have been a 5-star experience.

I handed in my laptop for repair on October 2, 2024. at your Hamilton branch, and the experience has been nothing short of appalling. Unacceptable Condition: My laptop was returned with significant scratches and chips that were not present before the repair. Missing Components: All screws were missing, which were intact when I handed over the laptop. Degraded Performance: The laptop's performance has worsened since the repair. Stolen Wallet: My laptop was in a protective wallet when I handed it in, which has not been returned to me. Moreover, I was kept waiting for an unacceptable period of seven weeks, which is far beyond any reasonable timeframe for such repairs. These guys are awesome!!! Can't thank them enough for building my gaming PC and making sure I have enough of everything to play my games. Need a build or a fix this is the place to go. Where do I start? To begin with, I didn’t purchase a high end or top paying refurbished laptop! My laptop was only $175 and I can tell you now it was a process and a half to finally getting the laptop in my hands (I live in AKL). It required a lot of patience (which is what I have). There were multiple issues from short staffing to logistics to technical issues with my $175 laptop. But the thing that stands out for me during this whole process (which spread over the 3 weeks) was the wonderful communication and honesty from the staff in particular Braydon. His communication and commitment rectifying the situation was above and beyond especially for the price of the laptop. Braydon, thank you so much for doing what you did! These guys are amazing and I highly recommend. I have an ancient 2014 macbook pro that with a battery that would just drain constantly and could only operate for even slightly extended periods when plugged into mains. Their service and comms are top rate and I found their pricing super competitive.

I took my PC in as it was having major issues the boys had it for a good week and a half trying to track down the faults they ended up having to replace the mother board and PSU and to be Xtra nice they also threw in some Xtra faster ram then what I had now my gaming pc is up and running properly and has had no issues thanks guys appreciate it and I recommend these guys on your build,repairs, upgrades 👍

I liked the friendly service, my mobile replacement parts were ordered, after delivery, my mobile was ready for pick up after an hour. Parking is outside the store, making visiting easier.

There were a couple of hiccups but Braydon stepped in, and sorted it out. Couldn't be happier now!  Would recommend!

Regen Computers repaired an ex-lease Dell laptop with TPM issues that another computer repair service had failed to diagnose fully. This was a troublesome problem that eventually required a replacement motherboard. Supply of the part was tricky but Regen persevered and a treasured machine is now working well for a very reasonable repair price. Thanks for great service, Braydon and Hamish. Throughly recommend these guys.

My power supply blew up, so we bought a new one and took it into Regen Computers, and their service was great, we were asking a lot of questions and they were very helpful answering all questions we had. We only went into get the power supply replaced but they fully cleaned and installed new thermal paste and in an Hour and 30 minutes it was ready to pick up, Appreciate all the help will be coming back for any PC help 10/10 Keep it up guys

Fantastic service. Very Friendly. Had some major issues upgrading my PC and rushed it in early in the morning and it was ready for pick just a few short hours later. When I asked what went wrong they made things very easy to understand for me as I know very little about the inner workings of a computer.

My recent experience with these guys was great I had a nintendo switch with fluid damage fixed from them they did an amazing job and followed it up again. Very helpful very fast and great communication friendly service they are extremely helpful highly recommended.

5+ if I could give more stars I would. These guys know computers. They know the best way to get the best possible outcome for your PC when it comes to fixing or upgrading your setup.

Great service and fast. Hamish checked out my Notebook immediately and explained it all while I watched. Didn't need to leave it there for a later diagnoses. No charge for that either. My hdd was getting old and unreliable so decided to clone my drive onto an ssd before the old drive died and lose all my data. Thanks guys.
