MacBook Repair Services

MacBook Screen Repair

Cracked displays, vertical or horizontal lines, black spots, flickering, backlight faults and screens that no longer turn on. On many modern MacBooks, the complete display assembly is replaced for the most reliable result.

MacBook Battery Replacement

Poor battery life, "Service Recommended" warnings, unexpected shutdowns, rapid battery drain and swollen batteries. A swollen battery should be assessed as soon as possible.

Keyboard & Trackpad Repairs

Sticky, unresponsive or repeating keys, and trackpads that won't click or respond. A raised or unresponsive trackpad can be a sign of battery swelling, so we check the cause before recommending repairs.

Charging Port & Won't Charge

MacBook not charging, charging intermittently, or only charging when the cable is held in a certain position. We test the charger, the charging port and the charging system to find where the fault is.

Liquid Damage

Spills can affect the keyboard, trackpad, display, display cables and logic board. If your MacBook has been exposed to liquid, turn it off, unplug it and bring it in for assessment as soon as possible.

Won't Turn On & Logic Board Diagnostics

No power, no display, startup faults or a MacBook that restarts unexpectedly. We run diagnostics and fault finding to work out whether the cause is power, battery, charging, display or logic board related.

SSD, Storage & macOS Reinstall

Slow performance, storage failures and software problems. Where your model allows, we can assess storage upgrades, and we can reinstall macOS to get your MacBook running properly again.

Data Backup & Transfer

Sometimes the most valuable part of a MacBook is the data on it. We can help back up your files before a repair and move your data to a new or refurbished MacBook.

Common Signs Your MacBook Needs Repair

✅ Cracked or damaged display

✅ Lines, black spots or flickering on the screen

✅ Battery draining quickly or "Service Recommended" warning

✅ Sticky, missing or unresponsive keys

✅ Trackpad not clicking or lifting

✅ MacBook not charging

✅ MacBook won't turn on

✅ Liquid spilled on the keyboard

✅ Slow performance or storage errors

Not every fault has an obvious cause, which is why diagnosis is important.

How We Diagnose MacBook Problems

Before recommending repairs, we inspect:

Power & Charging System

Testing the charger, charging port and power delivery.

Battery Condition

Checking battery health and signs of swelling.

Display

Confirming whether the display, cables or graphics system are responsible.

Keyboard & Trackpad

Checking key and trackpad operation.

Storage & Software

Checking storage health and macOS operation.

Liquid Damage

Assessing whether liquid exposure has affected internal components.

This helps ensure repairs are targeted at the actual fault.

Is Your MacBook Worth Repairing?

Repair Is Often Worthwhile When:

✅ The MacBook still performs well

✅ The fault is isolated

✅ Repair costs are significantly lower than replacement

✅ The device still meets your needs

✅ Valuable data remains on the device

Replacement May Be Worth Considering When:

✅ Multiple major faults are present

✅ Significant liquid damage exists

✅ Repair costs approach replacement value

✅ A refurbished replacement offers better value

If replacement is the better option, we'll explain why. Browse our refurbished MacBooks, each with a 12-month warranty. If you replace your MacBook, we can move your data across and complete a certified data wipe on your old device.
